Selection Committee Counselling Process for Paramedical Courses

Applies to B.Pharm., BSc., Nursing and B.P.T., Courses offered by Nandhanam Health Sciences College under Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. The entire TNEA counselling process involves various stages and can be verified below:

Registration:

To register for the counselling process, candidates must visit the TNEA official website. The candidates must have a valid e-mail and mobile ID for their registration purposes. At this stage, other details like religion, birth and communication address, etc must also be entered at the time of registration. After submitting the above details, the login Id and password will be generated. Applicants without internet facilities must visit the nearest registration facility with all details, documentation and fees.

Application Fee Payment:

To engage in the counselling process, applicants must pay TNEA application fees. For the reserved categories, the TNEA application fee is Rs 250/- and for General category, it’s Rs 500/-. Candidates can use credit/debit card / Internet banking in the online mode to pay for TNEA application fees. A payment receipt will be generated after the payment is made. Save it for future use.

Applicants at the facilitation centre can pay their fee to the officer present at the facilitation centre.

Application Form Filling:

After paying the counselling fee, the TNEA online application form will be available. The candidates must fill out the application form by providing their academic and personal information.

The candidates who will visit the facilitation centre are advised to carry their past academic documents and certificates so that the computer operator can complete the application form with ease.

Application Submission:

Check the details entered on the online application form before clicking on the ‘ Submit ‘ button. If all the information entered in the application form is correct in the knowledge of the candidate, submit the application form and take a print out of it as a future reference.

Random Number:

After the application is submitted, a random number will be generated. On the printout copy of the application form, the candidates can check their random number. During the verification of documents, the random number will be useful.

Document Verification:

Candidates applying for TNEA online or submit the application online must be present at the nearest facilitation centre for application and document verification. Candidates must first report their names and random numbers to the centre in order for the process to be continued.

For certificate verification, it is mandatory to carry all the necessary documents and certificates. The admission authority will only confirm the details of the candidate after the verification.

Declaration of Merit/ Rank List:

A few days after the document verification has been completed, the TNEA authority will release a merit list that includes the candidates ‘ name, rank, category and standardized score. Candidates whose name are in the TNEA merit list may participate in the Choice filling process

Online Choice Filling:

Applicants must sign in to TNEA official website and complete the Online choice filling form. On the official website, the listing of colleges, opening and the closing cut-off is published and candidates are encouraged to complete their choice. Based on the candidates’ scores/ marks, they must choose the list of colleges. It is advisable to complete as many options as possible to increase the chances of admission.

Tamil Nadu B.Pharm Seat Allotment Process 2020

Seat allotment is the most important phase in the counselling process.

I agree and ConfirmThe candidates can select the option “I agree and confirm,” if they are satisfied with their seat allocation. After that these candidates can not appear in the next round of TNEA counselling.
I Reject Current Allotment and Move to the Next RoundThe candidates are not satisfied with the allocation of their seat, they should tick ‘ I reject the current allocation’ and switch to the next round. The succeeding rounds of the TNEA counselling process will be open to these applicants.
I Decline Current Allotment and Quit CounsellingThis option is available to those candidates who wish to leave the TNEA counselling. After that they are not allowed to appear on the next round of TNEA counselling nor the allocation of seats will be considered for these candidates.

Once one of the above options is picked, candidates need to read the agreement and click on the ‘ I accept’ option. The initial admission fee shall be deposited by the candidates who accepted the allotment. To confirm the admission the candidates need to pay their admission fee for general categories the admission fee is Rs. 5,000/- and for reserved category its Rs. 1,000/-.

The result of TNEA will be published in the online mode and candidates can check provisional results on the official website. By the last week of July 2020, candidates with seats awarded must confirm their seats.

Finally, the candidates must receive a letter printed with the letter of seat allocation and the original payment receipt. Report all relevant documents together with the seat allocation letters and the receipt of fees to the respective colleges. On the prescribed date, pay the remaining first-year fee at the college.
